Male Genital Problems

Male genital problems and injuries can occur fairly easily since the scrotum and penis are not protected by bony structures. Unlike women, whose sex organs are inside the body, the male reproductive system includes sex organs, or genitals, that are situated both inside and outside the body. Common problems include trauma and infections. Your primary care doctor may treat these conditions in the office. Your doctor may also refer you to a urologist or an oncologist for the treatment of some of these conditions.

If you do not see a topic of interest to you, please try the A to Z listing of health conditions.
